When presented with the opportunity to choose some Grenache from a block planted with cuttings from eight of the best Grenache blocks in the country, how could I possible say no!
It was a tough decision to choose just one clone, but after walking the rows and tasting the fruit over and over, I had a definite favourite. I'm confident you will enjoy my choice too.
This wine is showing beautiful red fruit characters, with a medium weight palate.
Grenache is such a wonderful food pairing wine and goes with so many choices. Our suggested dishes are penne matriciana, red curry duck and chicken cacciatore.
